SK Bill DeVey W7MMW – Jun 2, 2020

Bill passed away in Clark county Washington on June 2, 2020. Bill was born on June 18, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois. He had a BSEE from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Portland.
Bill joined Tektronix in 1963 as a circuit design engineer, later working on environmental testing and safety agency qualification. He left Tek in 1987 to join MultiComp a Tek spin off. Later he worked for Sequent and Credence.
Bill and his wife Nancy built an impressive 3 story home in Cannon Beach in the late 1980s. Bill’s hobbies included amateur, buying and selling at electronic flea markets, and woodworking.
Bill’s suffered a serious stroke in September 2015 which resulted later in moving an assisted living facility in Camas Washington. Nancy died of cancer in July 2016.
A fall on June 2, 2020 possibly triggered by another stroke lead to his death. He is survived by his daughter, Annette DeVey King and former wife Helen.
